Packaging for Food

Primary packaging of food products with flexible packaging materials is the most diverse and extensive method, over bottles, cups and carton packaging. Food packaging is specifically designed to present demand and consumption sizes, in a secure and sanitary fashion, at the point of sale and to maintain product quality until the point of use. Therefore, the packaging process, the machine and dosing system, and the packaging itself, must meet the high requirements for food.

Primary packaging is divided into two main segments:

• vertically produced packaging
• horizontally produced packaging
